TODAY IN CLASS
Some further work with "Araby," focusing mostly on diction.  We'll look at some final ideas tomorrow about this story, but mostly do comparative/contrast work on tone and style (and their implications for narrative voice and stance) with Updike's "Araby." 

HOMEWORK
None specifically for tonight, but "Rocking Horse Winner" for Monday.  More info on what you'll be doing with that story tomorrow.
