TODAY
While most of you took a day off, some completed the Senior Project (Congratulations!), 34 IHS seniors attended the morning Essay Tips session, and 10-12 people dropped by my room for essay conferences.
FOR TOMORROW
First and second period will have about 6 minutes with your group to recollect your focus, then we'll begin the fictional elements presentations on "The Rocking-Horse Winner." (Actually, 1st is ready for the second group, which will be E--then F, A, B, C; in 2nd we start with D and then proceed as in first.
Third Period?--You need to come to class prepared with thoughtful notes on your assigned group for this story. You'll have a bit over 20 minutes with your group to "get your ducks in a row," and then we'll get started on the presentations.
Next up: "Sonny's Blues."
