TODAY IN CLASS
Short reading check quiz on "Araby." Most of the period devoted to "The Jilting of Granny Weatherall": different results (in 2nd, I decided to delay character but we "covered" more of the rest--in 1st and 3rd, we did a reasonable job with setting, but only "drive-by" versions of the rest.) We'll pick up some scattered pieces next week, but we might never do each category in depth for this story.
FOR MONDAY
Make sure that you have read each category assigned on the hand-out so that everyone will know the parameters set out.
IN CLASS ON MONDAY
Second counselor visit--you do NOT need to have your books in class on Monday. :)
