Never mind the reasons . . .they're probably obvious. Much as we need to wrap up this unit and move on, it will be in everyone's best interest to have the short fiction test on Tuesday rather than Monday. Part of the reason, though, is there is one bit of additional Kafka material that I'd intended to jettison that I just can't bear to leave out right now. But we definitely need an extra day for that.
You should still have Part III read for tomorrow--Thursday--we will "get there" even though some of our time will still be devoted to II (esp. in 3rd). Everyone needs to look especially closely at the imagery and implications of the end of Part II. Nope, this one's not an "unbirthing" scene . . . something else is going on here.
And need I remind you? Personal Essay DUE TOMORROW.
(And remember the creative, relevant title--since I didn't make much of this until the cover sheet hand-out, a few folks are forgetting!)
