TODAY IN CLASS
After reading several papers and discussing the diction as a class, students handed in the SLAP (Short Literary Analysis Practice) papers on the "grove of death" passage. Papers from the absent folks need to be turned in tomorrow.  We talked about the accountant and the trek to the Central station.

TOMORROW
We'll finish up Part I in 15 minutes or so on Friday.  (Yes.  Seriously.) And we'll get a decent start on Part II--be sure that you have the first two questions with you from last Thursday.
