Yes, to the end of Part 5--you should have gotten there by today, and I know some of you did.  Others were closing in.  Expect some sort of mile-marker progress check tomorrow. People in 1st and 2nd, please do look closely at the details of the last three paragraphs of Part 1.  (3rd, we've done all we'll do with that, and will move on tomorrow.)We will spend a very few minutes on that passage, but much of tomorrow will be on two other passages before a third one is assigned as an out-of-class typed "timed write."

The poetry part for today clearly was a bit less than the 10 percent.  I didn't have time to ask about the Dylan Thomas poem or about villanelles as a fixed form, but we will get to that for a brief moment or two .  But we will definitely revisit the Marvell poem in all classes tomorrow.  I will wait until tomorrow to tell you the next pair.  Tonight, focus on Tess..
