Students received their planners (and the highly-prized rulers!) from Mrs. Wallace, who went over several specific sections of the Student Handbook. If you were absent today, you'll need to go to the office to pick one up because you are required to sign a form indicating you've received it.
And I distributed the syllabus, also calling your attention to specific sections while leaving you to read the rest on your own. If you want to collect 5 bonus points, return the signed slip no later than Friday. Your parent needs to sign it. (Even if you wind up being able to sign your own excuse notes, Mom or Dad still needs to see this one.)
Students handed in their Self-Definitions and stamped resume (some very polished, others taking full advantage of my assurance that they could be works in progress).
No specific homework for Wednesday, but you are no doubt aware that the Friday short assessment and the Monday timed write on Atonement are drawing ever closer.
