The First Post

Welcome to the AP English Literature and Comp blog for 2009-2010.  Yes, I'm late to the party, tomorrow being the fourth day of school and the first blog entry just being posted tonight.  (And after nine p.m., no less!)

I'm assuming that plans for Friday worked out--most of you wrote the diagnostic timed essay (an AP Question 2 from the Free Response Section).  If you missed class on Friday due to illness or late summer family plans, you need to make this up very soon--after school tomorrow or before classes start on Wednesday would be the options. (There's a faculty meeting Wednesday afternoon, and you need to have completed your own essay before we look at the rubric and samples on Thursday.)

Due tomorrow, Tuesday:  the Self-Definition.  You will be turning in a typed copy together with your stamped resumes from Friday.  I look forward to reading them!
