So consider Frankenstein:
- Be able to assert briefly the nature/purpose of each of Walton's four letters.
- What are the main qualities of Walton that you think we should note carefully?
- What else seems important about the intro letters?
- Well, obviously keep track of the facts. . . places, life, family, education, reading, what sparked his "destiny," early university experience, etc.
- "SO WHAT?"--what thematic directions do you think are being set up here?
- (there was something else I wanted to add . . . I might do so later!)
