A Sandy Snowman

While we wait for lowland snow (not that there's any in the forecast), here are a couple of pictures my daughter took over the week-end near her home in Hawaii Kai, Oahu.

Credit her with the photography, but not the actual construction.  The builders had apparently left the beach.

Anyway, don't forget that tomorrow you are supposed to be a True Northwest Winter Dresser.  I'm still laughing about--and impressed by--some of your retro ski outfits!

TODAY IN CLASS
Some brief discussion of the individual set of questions from yesterday, with a bit of Mademoiselle Reisz thrown in for good measure.  Then there was some well-utilized (and apparently sorely needed) reading time.

FOR TOMORROW
Keep reading.  For tomorrow, you need to read XXIX-XXXVII (whew--no wonder Arabic numerals finally prevailed!).  Yeah, the short form is 29-37.   Expect a reading check quiz.

Yes, as I mentioned in class, this gets us VERY close to the end.  But I want to keep that separate for another day.
